PDF Pattern
The first thing I wanted to do with the deeply saturated Indelible Ink collection was to set it alongside the other tones in the Indelible library. This allowed me to blend the colors in a painterly way while also highlighting the contrast between light and dark. The quilt itself is a simple patchwork design that takes a fun spin from the center, featuring large square blocks of fussy-cut moths that gradually move outward into smaller and smaller shapes. It shares some of the same square-and-retangle structure as an optical illusion quilt. However, the spin is more fun than dizzying.
