This handy guide gives you all of the design notes and tool suggestions that I've shared over the years when I am teaching my Applique Stories workshops! You can think of these patchworks a bit like fabric collage and you can use as little or as much stitching embellishment as you would like. While there is no "right way" to build these artistic vignettes of fabric, the insight and technique I have put together here may help calm any out of box nerves you are feeling about getting started.
